How To Find Phone Contacts On Google

Go to Settings > Accounts - Google > Tap on your account >. Now select the checkbox for Contacts and see what is the last synced date and time shown below.

Now login to your Google account and go to Google contacts. You will be able to see all the synced contacts

From Panel: Make sure you export all your contacts from sim/phone to gmail account via phonebook, then sync contact again through the direction given above.

Import contacts

If you have contact lists that you want to use in Gmail, you can import them into Google Contacts.

Note: When you import details for someone who's already in your Google Contacts, the imported contact will replace the existing contact.

1. From Yahoo, Outlook, Hotmail, AOL, and other email providers


  • Go to Google Contacts.
  • On the left, click More and then Import.
  • Select the account you want to import from.
  • Click I Agree, Let’s Go!
  • Sign in to your email account.
  • Click Agree.


2. From a Gmail account

Step 1: Export existing Gmail contacts into a CSV file

Go to the old version of Google Contacts.
In the top left, click More  and then Export.
Select which contacts to export.
"My Contacts" are contacts you created.
"All contacts" are contacts you created and Other Contacts you’ve emailed.
Select Google CSV format.
Click Export.
In the top right, click your photo, then click Sign out.


Step 2: Import the file

Go to the old version of Google Contacts.
In the top left, click More  and then Import.
Click Choose File.
Select your CSV file.
Click Import.

3. From an Apple or iCloud account via Shuttlecloud

Step 1: Generate an app password

Go to Appleid.apple.com.
Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
Verify your identity with two-factor authentication.
Under "Security," select Generate Passwords. If you don't see Generate Passwords, enable two-factor authentication.
Enter a label for the password, such as “Google Contacts Import.”
Copy the app password.

Step 2: Import your contacts

Go to Google Contacts.
On the left, click More and then Import.
Select the account you want to import from.
Click I Agree, Let’s Go!
Sign in to your email account.
Enter the app password you generated.
Click Agree.

Do You Have Trouble importing

There are a few reasons you may have problems:

You're importing more than 3,000 contacts at a time. If you have more than 3,000 contacts, split them into multiple CSVs before you import them.
You reached the limit of 25,000 contacts. Learn about contact size limits
The contacts aren't formatted to work with Google Contacts.


Add a single contact

Go to Google Contacts.
In the bottom right, click Add Add. (If you don't see Add Add, go to add contacts in old Contacts.)
Enter the contact's information.
Click Save.

Merge duplicates

If you have duplicate listings for the same person in Google Contacts, you can merge them.

Go to Google Contacts.
On the left, click Duplicates. If you don’t see Duplicates, go to merge contacts in old Contacts.
In the top right, click Merge all. Or, review each duplicate and click Merge.

If you deleted, synced, imported, or merged contacts in the last 30 days, you can undo those changes to retrieve your contacts.

Note: When you restore contacts to a certain time, such as one week ago, any contacts added after that time won't show up. Learn how to export your current contacts and add them back later.

Go to Google Contacts.
Click More  and then Undo changes.
Choose a time to go back to.
Click Confirm.

Export contacts

You can add your Google contacts to another email or contacts service.


  • Go to Google Contacts.
  • Choose which contacts you want to export:
  • To select specific contacts: Check the boxes next to their names. Then click More and then Export.
  • To select a group of contacts: Click More and then Export, then choose the group.
  • Choose or save your contacts as a CSV or vCard file.
  • To add contacts to another Google Account or Microsoft Outlook: Choose Google CSV.
  • To add contacts to any other email or contacts service: Choose vCard.
  • To save your file, click Export.
  • Tip: To clear up storage, export and then delete contacts you don't need.
